National Football League uniforms are coming to 'Fortnite'

It was a mildly religious experience, peeling back layers of Fortnite Battle Royale's odd, ever-evolving lore that Epic Games has only made the barest of teases at before.

That said, the collective response to the latest in-game event seems very positive, in fact, I would say the reaction hasn't been this positive to a live event since The Visitor.

The Fortnite server status has gone haywire following the conclusion of Epic Games Cube Event in the game this evening.

And a Matrix-like look using the game's replay mode. The cube, that had been hovering over the Loot Lake, started melting first, then it began pulsating and after that it started spinning very fast. A flash of white launched players into a bright, but empty realm that was reminiscent of a wintry version of the Matrix.

Fortnite island gets a new location After about a minute, players were taken back to the Fortnite island and that too in a fresh location.

The event also added "Lil' Kev" challenges for players to earn the Lil Kev Back Bling until Sunday, Nov. 11. The center of Leaky Lake is a tranquil garden dotted with brightly colored flowers, as well as some remnants of the purple cube that captured the imagination of Fortnite enthusiasts for the past few months.

The National Football League and Epic Games are partnering up to bring NFL team outfits to "Fortnite", according to a press release. The game developer even sent a push notification for mobile gamers.
