PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) coming to PS4 in December according to reports

It's confirmed that PUBG is coming to's in my PS4 Game Database.

If you're an Xbox One owner on the hunt for something new to play, a new promotion from Microsoft just might have you covered. PlayStation and Nintendo Switch are the only popular gaming platforms that are yet to get PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and if recent leaks are to believed then Sony PlayStation 4 is getting it soon.

That pageantry has since died down some since the swelling popularity of other battle royale games like Fortnite, but that enthusiasm might be reignited if the game arrives on the PS4 next month.

PUBG was launched as a console exclusive on Xbox One a year ago when it launched as Early Access.

Expect the PS4 version to launch around the same sort of date this year, perhaps with the brand new winter map. For seemingly no reason in particular, Microsoft has chose to hand out free copies of two Xbox One games.

The news comes as Bluehole reveals its brand new eSports plans.

PUBG set to launch the inaugural season for a three-phase PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) competitive season, beginning in January 2019.

"After Phases 1 and 2, the top teams from each region will compete head-to-head in third-party-hosted global events, followed by a global All-Star Games".

Teams will come from nine regions including five different Asian regions, North America, Europe, Latin America and Oceania.

Elsewhere, Microsoft is also teasing some big PUBG news for its XO18 event on November 10.
