Queen Elizabeth invites Meghan Markle's mom to United Kingdom for Christmas

According to both the Express and the Daily Mail, Queen Elizabeth II has invited Meghan Markle's mother, Doria Ragland, to join the Royal Family's Christmas festivities at Sandringham.

And now the social worker may move to the United Kingdom for good - according to the UK's Daily Express.

Sources say the Monarch has made the "very thoughtful gesture" towards Ragland because she respects her so much.

The source is reported to have said that the Queen's invitation showed respect and acknowledged that Meghan would be spending Christmas away from family in Britain.

It looks like the Royal Family will be adding a seat to their Christmas table this holiday season.

The House Of Windsor have previously arranged for the Duchess Of Cambridge's family to join them at church on Christmas morning but they did not stay at Sandringham.

A spokesperson for Buckingham Palace has so far declined to comment.

The same could be said of Kate, who scored one of the first introductions with the woman that left Harry so enraptured that pals began whispering about an upcoming wedding well before they crossed the one-year threshold. "She has been to Meghan and Harry's home in the Cotswolds several times and she has stayed with them at Nottingham Cottage".

Doria joined her daughter at an outdoor reception at Kensington Palace in September to mark the launch of a charity cookbook to help those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire.

Doria introduced herself to guests on the day as "Meg's mom".
