Seven teams interested in trading for Terry Rozier

Filling in for the injured Kyrie Irving as the C's starting point guard for the entirety of their 19-game 2018 postseason run, Rozier broke out with 16.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game, along with a team-leading 36.6 minutes per game.

Boston would carry its momentum into overtime, escaping with a miraculous, 116-109 win, that wouldn't have been possible without Morris' cold-blooded dagger.

However, the Suns took a commanding lead against the visiting Celtics, taking full advantage of a ghastly first half from Boston. A clearly exhausted Irving savored the victory and then pleaded for patience for a Celtics team that improved to 7-4 on the young season. Irving was the only starter to make a field goal in the first half.

"It's great that we were able to rebound because you're going to have [a poor] half, but it's good to know that we got some of that stuff we looked like at times past year in that locker room", said Celtics coach Brad Stevens. The team went from being down 14 with 3:30 left, to down eight with 90 seconds left, to down six with 40 seconds left.

"I talk to Terry quite a bit and I haven't heard any of those types of things, so I don't know how reliable any of the sources or rumors are", said Ainge.

"We just learned a lot about being resilient", Irving said.

"Naturally, we all want it now".

"Guys like Kyrie, he is going to have all the focus on him", Morris said. "And that's even within the games". "We had to make adjustments". We're going to be fine. Thursday's win won't mean all that much if they revert to bad habits and continue to sleepwalk at times through games.

The Celtics never would have had a chance in this one if it weren't for Irving's consistent offensive effort, and they certainly wouldn't have won if it weren't for his clutch playmaking down the stretch.

Celtics: At the Utah Jazz on Friday in their second set of back-to-back games this season.

National Basketball Association insider Shams Charania reported on Wednesday that several National Basketball Association teams were interested in trading for Rozier.
