The student replied, letting Mowry-Housley know that she had been in contact with Adam but "unfortunately there's nothing new to report at the moment".

According to the Napa Valley Register, Alaina graduated from Vintage High previous year, before becoming a student at Pepperdine University, where her suitemate had tweeted a photo of her earlier in the day, saying she hadn't come home from the bar. She initially spotted a tweet from the roommate saying Housley was still unaccounted for, hours after the shooting.

Tamera went on to say, 'I will miss our inside jokes, us serenading at the piano. He said Alaina, a Pepperdine freshman, was at the bar with several friends.


At least 12 lives were cut short on Wednesday when a gunman opened fire in the Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks.

When a fan tweeted a prayer, Tamera responded, "We haven't found her yet".

The Sister, Sister actress said: "Ashley this is her aunt Tamera Mowry Housley".

Tamera Mowrey-Housley and her husband Adam mournfully released a joint statement on Thursday.

She shared a photo on Instagram of the sisters and Alaina in the bridal party at Mowry-Housley's wedding in 2011.

"I mean, you know, I've been on your side the whole time, and to be on this side's not fun", Adam told ET, referring to his work as a journalist.

"Our hearts are broken", the Housleys said in a statement.
