Target reveals Black Friday deals and ‘skip the line’

Black Friday is Friday, November 23 this year.

Research company Adobe Analytics projected Thursday that online shopping would reach $124.1 billion this holiday season, up 14.8 percent from a year ago, as consumers increasingly make their purchases on the internet rather than in person.

Black Friday falls on November 23rd this year, the day after Thanksgiving.

Just as Black Friday ads for 2018 began to start leaking, Target chose to get ahead of the leaks and release its ad way earlier than it usually does. But now that it's out there, you can start planning your holiday shopping a few days early.

Walmart continues to be the primary destinations for shoppers this Black Friday 2018.

Kohl's Corp., like Target Corp., will be opening its stores at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, and will offer Black Friday deals until 1 p.m. local time the following day, or while supplies last.

The hot deals include deals on televisions and toys.

Also, to help guests prepare for their Black Friday shopping, once again this year, Target will offer localized store maps in the Target app.

In addition to divulging details from its Black Friday ad, Target also announced new mobile technology meant to let guests "skip the line", checking out with a Target employee from anywhere in the store. For every $50 you spend between November 19-23, you'll get $15 Kohl's Cash, which you can redeem November 24-December 5. Order Pickup and Drive Up are available for select REDcard Early Access Sale items. Details about each week's upcoming Weekend Deals will be revealed on Wednesdays throughout the season on A Bullseye View. Today, more than 30 million guests use Cartwheel, and since its inception in 2013, guests have saved more than $1.3 million.

Fire HD 10: The Fire HD 10 sold for only £99.99 on Prime Day, knocking £50 from its £149.99 RRP - the biggest deal of all.
