The PS4 turns five-years-old, so here's its best-selling games

PlayStation Now gives PlayStation gamers the ability to play over 650 PS2, PS3 and PS4 games on their PlayStation 4 console or PC, with the option to either stream or download.

By way of putting more of the console's history into context, Sony says it's also pushed out 11 major software updates to the PS4 since its launch back in 2013. Still, five years on and the system has bested the last one, so that's good. for reference, current estimates (because Microsoft doesn't share figures) put Xbox One sales at around 40 million units sold.

Those are fantastic numbers for any generation, putting the PS4 just behind the massively selling PS2, which shipped some 87 million units in its first five years and more than 150 million consoles in total. Many of those games, with the addition of Fortnite, are listed among the "most popular" PlayStation 4 titles as well.

The superstore has discounted a swathe of Xbox One S bundles that include blockbuster titles like Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG), Battlefield V, National Basketball Association 2K19, Forza Horizon 4, and Fallout 76.

Those interested in digging deeper may be interested to learn that the black DualShock 4 controller is the most popular color, followed by blue, red, white and camo. And to top it off, the gaming giant is releasing a special console bundle later this month in honor of the milestone. It is expected to be announced in 2019, with a 2020 release date.
