We hope it does, though, as this color scheme looks like the bee's knees.

OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple variant could be launched soon, according to tipster Ishan Agarwal.

Previous OnePlus devices have come in Lava Red, Sandstone White, Silk White and Amber Red but there's now no sign of the company releasing those colors for the newer 6T.

[Update:] The phone is official, as it's just been launched in China.

What if I already have an older OnePlus device?

While other phones like the Galaxy Note 9 and iPhone X climb past the $1,000 mark, the OnePlus 6T stays below $600, even for the upgraded model, and boasts a Snapdragon 845 chipset and up to 8GB of RAM. The device comes with two SIM card slots (2x nano SIM), while you can not expand its storage using a microSD card, the company does not offer that option. Chief among which being a reworked front-facing camera and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

OnePlus has always touted its devices as "flagship killers", offering top-tier performance and specs at a much lower price than the competition. There is also another 16MP sensor housed inside the notch. It is a bit narrower, a bit thicker, and a bit taller than the OnePlus 6, in case you're wondering. OnePlus was an exception with the 6T, following the Henry Ford mantra of "any colour, as long as it's black". While the same gradient can also be seen along this OnePlus 6T variant's edges, the pattern will not be exhibited by the phone's bezels.
