Thugs Of Hindostan Hits A New Low

The YRF production received a lukewarm response from the audiences and critics alike.

The week is expected to close out at Rs 135 crore net which is enough to tell the rest of unfortunate story.

Aamir Khan's Thugs of Hindostan which released on November 8 opened to an exponential figure of Rs 50.75 crore but then the numbers declined consistently over the next few days.

The drop in the collection has been consistent since the second day and Sunday took another dip with just Rs 17.25 crore in its kitty and rs 123 crore in its extended weekend. The film now stands at a total of around Rs 122.50 crore, as reported by Boxofficeindia.com.

Trade Analyst, Taran Adarsh tweeted the weekend numbers of the film in Hindi and regional language and wrote, "#ThugsOfHindostan HINDI: "Thu 50.75 cr, Friday 28.25 cr, Sat 22.75 cr.

Adarsh added, "You can not misjudge or underestimate the audience these days".

Thugs of Hindostan has turned out to be a shocker at the box office as the collections of the film touched rock bottom on its first Monday. Will find it tough to sustain from Day 5 [Mon] onwards. Helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, Thugs Of Hindostan is bankrolled by Aditya Chopra under the banners of Yash Raj Films. "Content is King and the audiences are King Makers!" The quirky family drama presented by Junglee Pictures in association with Chrome Pictures also stars Sanya Malhotra, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao and Surekha Sikri in pivotal roles.
