Ariana Grande wobbled in her stilettos when she gave her first TV performance of her latest single, "Thank U, Next" for Wednesday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The "Bang Bang" singer revealed that her exes, who she mentions by name in the first verse, heard the song before its release on Saturday.

Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have been broken up for less than a month, but the singer seems to have already moved into the acceptance phase of the grieving process.

There were some bumps and maybe even a few tears, but she persisted (and managed to find the fun), serving some on-point vocals as always.

Watch the entire performance above, then maybe go see if The First Wives Club is on Hulu or something? But, clearly not anxious about having a very human, silly moment during a performance, since she carried on singing and couldn't stop from laughing as she sang.

The tune is not an easy one for Grande to sing, which became apparent during her appearance on Ellen.

In a statement Billboard's vice-president of content Ross Scarano says Grande "consistently stands up for herself and her decisions in a world that often isn't hospitable to that sort of strength in young women". We all love you.

"I thought we were supposed to exit!"

Ellen and Ariana's interview has been one of the most highly anticipated chats in recent times as fans are hoping to find out more news on all this brand new music and people also look to find out what happened around Ari's split from Pete Davidson.

"I know some of you are curious about the breakup but the truth is it's nobody's business and sometimes things just don't work out and that's OK", he said during "Weekend Update".
