Why Mel B cried after Spice Girls reunion announcement

Why Mel B cried after Spice Girls reunion announcement

They're even colour co-ordinated for the occasion, all wearing white ensembles to show off their holiday tans.

Yesterday, Mel C, Mel B, Emma and Geri appeared in a minute-long clip to announce that tickets were going on sale from Saturday at 10.30am.

ITV lunchtime programme Loose Women welcomed back Mel B to the Loose Women studio panel and the rest of the presenters were eager to quiz her on the latest updates for the tour news.

Mel C said she had initially resisted reforming the group but had eventually relented.

And while Victoria won't be a part of the lineup hitting the road in a tour that's expected to net them £10million each, she still took time out to release a statement on the exciting announcement.

Former bandmate Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham, also took to social media to wish her friends all the best for the upcoming tour. "I won't be joining my girls on stage again but being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish them so much love and fun as they go back on tour next year", she wrote in the caption of a photo of the reunited four-piece. But no, we've been wrong all these years!

Speaking of Victoria, she may have screwed her old girl band in more ways than one.

During their radio appearances on Wednesday, the girls confirmed that it had been Mel B who had been the driving force behind the reunion.

Ticket prices have not yet been announced, but in 2007, tickets were advertised for resale, costing up to £900, with some legitimate tickets being originally priced at £115.
