Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled announced at the Game Awards

As previously teased from the appearance of odd fuzzy dice on social media, Crash Team Racing is indeed making a comeback - and just in time to rev up summer 2019.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will be released on June 21, 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, Activision confirmed at The Game Awards following an orange dice-fueled tease earlier this week.

You can unlock Nitros Oxide in the regular version of the game, but only through "completing some of the fiercest challenges". And, whoa, we can't wait to take this for a spin.

Does she go in on me for choosing Dingodile, exclusively, every single race, several thousand of them, for the last 19 years of my life?

Crash Team Racing originally appeared on the PlayStation in 1999 in North America and Europe. It will indeed be a retelling of the scenario presented in Crash's very first racing game, with Nitros Oxide returning as the big baddie.

Nitro-Fueled is developed by Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions devs Beenox Interactive and brings back all the original content from the original PlayStation's CTR, built from the ground up with new visuals and audio.

In the USA, the standard version of the game will be priced at $39.99 and the Nitros Oxide version will cost $59.99.

The standard edition doesn't have any fancy collectibles or digital pack-ins, but the game is all you really need anyway.

As a reminder, Crash Team Racing is a kart racer known power-ups, weapons, and power slides.
