Love Island winners Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham break-up

Last night, Love Island fans' hearts were broken when this series' victor, Dani Dyer, confirmed that she had split from her co-star boyfriend, Jack Fincham.

The pair, who won this year's Love Island together, apparently parted ways after months and months of arguing, and it was reportedly Dani who called time on the relationship.

"They came out to a whirlwind of publicity and after a while, things started to get to them and the cracks appeared".

She told her followers the pair planned to stay friends and "will always have a place in our hearts for each other". "I hope you'll all understand", she added.

Jack and Dani have been couple goals since they first met this summer on the 2018 series of Love Island, pairing up immediately and never wavering from each other's sides since.

With clothing line deals, a book coming out and her own reality show, Dani was working hard to keep up her image.

Jack had recently insisted that - while there had indeed been "bickering" - the pair were very much still going strong. It's a normal thing having an argument, ' he explained to The Sun in November.

After the show ended, the couple moved in together and got a puppy. It was tough, it was intense - you're on camera most days of the week all day long.

And the Love Island victor has shared plenty of snaps with her family since then, but Jack has seemingly not appeared at any of the gatherings.

The couple were still together when it was filmed. I got emotional with Dani doing it; I even had a couple of tear ups'.
