Seahawks Troll Richard Sherman With 'Tip' INT Celebration

Seahawks Troll Richard Sherman With 'Tip' INT Celebration

It's another if many of those young players are showing few signs that they can be part of the solution.

"We're just beat up", cornerback Richard Sherman said. It was a take-care-of-business game, and the Seahawks took care of business with Wagner's All-Pro day and another one of Wilson's more efficient performances. Building an insurmountable lead in the first half, Wilson completed seven passes for only 83 yards in the final two quarters. Admitting that the game has started to slow down a bit for him as he's adjusted to playing at the National Football League level, the former San Diego State star rushed for 65 yards on only seven carries.

In 10 games, Baldwin's numbers are down this season (37 receptions, 388 yards, two TDs) but he's catching 74% of his targets while averaging just over 10 yards per catch.

It was that kind of afternoon for the now 7-5 Seahawks.

Seattle has a new defensive core and many guys are chipping in.

In Sunday's 43-16 win over San Francisco, Wilson attempted just six passes in the first half.

Wilson's stat line at the end of the first half - 4 of 6 for 102 yards and three touchdowns - showed how much the Seahawks were in control of this game from early on. I think he threw for 160 or 170 (actually, 185) so. He really needs to clean it up and get his head in the game before next week against the Minnesota Vikings.

A highly efficient offense and an opportunistic defense ruined Richard Sherman's homecoming in Seattle. As things stand, they hold the top wild card spot in the NFC.

It was finally a stress-free win for the Seahawks after they white-knuckled their way through November, going 2-2 with all four games decided by eight points or fewer. "That's why he's been able to be more effective getting the second looks and sliding up in the pocket and hitting Tyler on the big play was a ideal example of that".

"We're putting together the right formula for us to make a push here", Carroll said.

Honoring his long-time teammate with the reenactment, receiver Doug Baldwin said, "I know all you guys think we're robots and that we're not humans and that we don't have emotions, but when you spend so much time with guys and doing what we do, day in and day out, it's hard. And we've had a lot of good finishes and played well in December and I'm hoping that this can be one of those years that we can classically look back at and say, 'We did it'". We didn't know. We had to keep finishing, keep working.
