More and more, the annual event is used by publishers to tease upcoming games, and more than 10 highly anticipated games are expected to debut at the event, including a new Far Cry, a Dragon Age tease and more about the new Metroid Prime game.

The 2018 Game Awards, hosted by Geoff Keighley, begins at 6PM PT / 9PM ET. Along with crowning a new Game of the Year and other accolades, The Game Awards is also home to new game announcements and trailers. The Game Awards will be streamed in 4K. The Game Awards 2018 will be streamed live on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook Live, Xbox Live, Mixer, Steam and PlayStation. You can see all the available streaming platforms on the The Game Awards website.

The awards show, held annually in December, celebrates both game creators and game players, and gives fans a sneak preview of games set to be released in the future.

Along with the ceremony, The Game Awards will also be littered with performances and reveals. While we know some of the announcements we can expect, others have only been teased.

Fortnite is adding a creative mode. You can check out all of the games we are certain or expect to see below, or read about the games we know won't be there. Smash coming out, there are going to be a ton of games that will be announced in the show that will go live that night.
