BMW 7 Series facelift spotted undisguised

The G11/G12 generation of the limo was introduced in mid-2015 and has aged rather gracefully in all these years. We have already seen a few spy images of the 2019 BMW 7 Series facelift undergoing road trials but a leaked image that has surfaced recently give us a good glimpse of the revised front facade. For instance, a previous series of spyshots, which were snapped when the Bimmer hit the Nurburgring, has allowed us to notice the more extrovert front bumper included in the M Sport Package.

It looks like someone working at BMW is about to get into trouble as official images of the 2020 7 Series LCI have emerged onto the web.

The new electrified technology will also provide the 745e with a greater electric-only range.

The BMW 7 Series is the flagship sedan offering from the German automaker and is the rival to the likes of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Audi A8 and Jaguar XJ.

Compared to other Life Cycle Impulses from BMW, the one applied to the 7er is quite comprehensive as beyond the massive grille, the headlights have a new, sleeker shape and the hood has been redesigned as well. Even the rear of the vehicle will feature many refreshed elements.

Output for the 740e peaks at 322bhp and 369lb ft of torque, but the use of a more advanced motor powered by batteries of a higher energy density is expected to provide more power to the turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine, edging combined output towards 400bhp. The piece takes cues from the similarly gargantuan opening in the front end of the new X7, but the saloon's smaller stature makes the styling element appear even larger here.
