Chelsea boss Sarri hits back at Bayern after Hudson-Odoi comments

The 35-year-old is set to leave the Bundesliga champions at the end of the season.

Arjen Robben believes Chelsea teen Callum Hudson-Odoi needs to take his "chance" amid interest in Bayern Munich to acquire the attacker.

"I think it's not professional, because they are talking about a player under contract with Chelsea".

"They didn't respect our club, I think".

Meanwhile, Chelsea FC are now preparing for their home clash against Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday night. Anything else, we will see. The market window in January would be better for one week, 10 days.

The Times say Chelsea want to agree a fee he can be re-signed for but that the German club are reluctant to accept the clause. "I spoke with the club and the club knows very well my opinion", he said. In my opinion, he's a player we would definitely like to have.

The 18-year-old forward was promoted to the Blues senior team in 2017 under former boss Antonio Conte but has only made three topflight appearances for the club since then. "I don't know anything about the market day by day or minute by minute".

That appears to have been the period in which he lost hope in Sarri's commitment to develop him.

He did say if Alvaro Morata leaves, with loan moves to Sevilla and Atletico Madrid mooted, Chelsea would need a replacement.

Other strikers have been linked but The Sun say landing Higuain, who is now on a season-long loan at AC Milan from Juventus, is the Blues' priority. "I'm very happy with the player and I'd like to have him in the future".

"At the moment, for his mental condition, he's not able to play".

As such, it seems highly unlikely he will sign a deal, meaning Chelsea's best chance of making significant money is to sell him this January as his value will plummet with just one year left on his deal.

As such, Hudson-Odoi barely featured, even on the bench, after starting the Community Shield.

'He has done that recently and he has played, and done very well in the last couple of games.
