Dillian Whyte slams Anthony Joshua fight offer as 'utterly ridiculous'

In an interview with TalkSport, Whyte stated that he would be interested in fighting Klitschko and added that he felt confident enough in his abilities to knock him out. I know how I need to fight him.

The heavyweight contender from Brixton has emerged as the front runner to be AJ's next opponent despite fans calling for the unification fight with WBC champion Deontay Wilder.

In an interview with United Kingdom radio station talkSPORT, Whyte claimed he had been offered "way less" for a rematch with Joshua than he had made for his last outing against compatriot Dereck Chisora in December, which he won by 1th round knockout. "The offer is silly, I am a pay-per-view fighter now, I have worked my way up with nine wins since I boxed him, all won in spectacular fashion".

But the Jamaican-born boxer insists AJ must get serious if they are to make the fight, reiterating the opening offer can not be taken seriously, he said, "He needs to take that into consideration. I just believe I will take it into his kitchen and rip the sink out, he doesn't like body punches as well, I know that from sparring with him".

Joshua stopped Whyte in seven rounds in a fire-fight clash back in December of 2015.

"It's an easy fight to make".

WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO may come out of retirement in April to take on Dillian Whyte at Wembley, according to reports.

Now, per a report from World Boxing News, Wladimir Klitschko may return from his almost two year hiatus and face top heavyweight challenger Dillian Whyte. But assuming that fight can't be made, Whyte and American Jarrell "Big Baby" Miller - also promoted by Hearn - loom as the most likely options.

"It is a childish offer, if you want to fight, you make a proper offer, you know what I bring to the table". It looks like Tyson Fury will fight Deontay Wilder (again), so he needs to stop messing about.

Anthony Joshua now holds four of the heavyweight belts but has been accused of ducking his rivals. I know exactly how to do it, because I've trained with him, I know all about Klitschko.

"This is an easy fight to make, it's not a hard fight, I have the rankings, we have history".
