Giuliani: Trump Legal Team Should be Able to 'Correct' Mueller's Final Report

Trump may still invoke executive privilege to block parts of the report from being released to Congress and the public.

There has been no communication between either the special counsel or the president's legal team since before Christmas, Mr. Giuliani told Reuters.

We may finally have a concrete deadline for the Mueller report.

In short, the Federal Bureau of Investigation was looking into "whether the president's own actions constituted a possible threat to national security".

There is a debate over whether there would be interference into the inquiry, especially as the president's nominee for attorney general, William Barr, has criticized "overzealous prosecutors" conducting the investigation.

As of Friday night, the president has yet to respond to the report, one of the most damning yet in the Russia-Trump saga.

Counterintelligence investigators were reportedly considering whether Trump's actions constituted a national security threat, an extraordinary line of inquiry against a sitting U.S. president.

The grand jury empaneled by the special counsel has been extended for another six months, however, signaling that the probe may continue beyond the winter.

So far, five key advisors to Donald Trump have been found guilty of crimes after being charged in the special counsel investigation.

CNN also reported that investigators are examining whether conflicting public statements by Trump and his team would be considered an attempt to obstruct justice. You can give it to anyone.

Trump has denied any collusion with Moscow and Russian Federation has said it did not meddle in the election.

"This shows that Bob Mueller can demonstrate to a court, without the testimony of Paul Manafort, that the campaign had a connection to Russian intelligence and the connection involved information going from the campaign to the Russians", Fox News legal analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano said Wednesday.
