Hasan Salihamidzic: Bayern Munich really want to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi

Hudson-Odoi has only made 11 senior appearances for Chelsea FC but his reputation is such that the 18-year-old has two of Europe's biggest clubs being regularly touted with a move to sign the Blues starlet.

FC reports that the player is looking increasingly likely to join Bayern Munich in the near future.

Honigstein says Chelsea's asking price has now been met and that the player is desperate to go and try his luck in the Bundesliga.

Hudson-Odoi has become frustrated with the limited first-team opportunities available in the Premier League and has spotted an opening in the Bundesliga.

But Murphy believes Hudson-Odoi is technically gifted and the player should leave Chelsea for Bayern if he wants to have more playing time.

'It's not easy getting in the first team at clubs of this size and I think it is, at the moment, all credit to Callum with so much going on around him at such a young age to be going out on the pitch and putting in the performances.

And speaking after Chelsea's under-21 side were knocked out of the Checkatrade Trophy by League One Peterborough United, Edwards urged Hudson-Odoi to stay and make his impact at Stamford Bridge.

"Of course, he asked me about Germany", Rudiger told reporters at Wembley Stadium. He can develop here but he can develop in Germany as well - and don't forget Bayern Munich are also a big club.

"It is something he needs to decide". The Argentine is now on loan at AC Milan, but the London club want to sign him this January. "I hope to have Diego Godin alongside me for a while longer". But for me I just wish he stays with us.

"The guy stopped, if we have to wait for VAR I think he has to continue, but he stopped in the middle of the park".
