Marko Arnautovic Wants To Leave West Ham For China

The Austrian forward may have only been with West Ham for a year at the time but Jose Mourinho wanted the forward to join him at Manchester United.

It was believed that West Ham were ready to offer the Catalans giants £20 million for the services of the Spain worldwide, but a source inside the London Stadium poured scorn on that notion.

West Ham are now operating without creative playmakers Manuel Lanzini, Jack Wilshere and Andriy Yarmolenko due to injury, and although Samir Nasri has come in to help in their absence, the Chilean is looking for further signings, not just to add quality to his ranks, but also depth too.

Despite securing hero status at Liverpool with his late goal against Everton in the Merseyside derby, a move away from the club is looking increasingly likely.

The report details that Wilson is in their sights as a potential replacement and they'd have to pay over £35million for the England internatonal, as he's been earmarked for around the £50million mark.

Wilson may be the answer to the forward search and he's proving this season he can tear it up in the Premier League.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini said at his Thursday media conference: "We know that we have in Marko a very good player, so maybe a lot of clubs may want him to play for their team, but he's a player of West Ham".

"Those are all rumours", Pellegrini said.

"Players of his quality and other players like Declan Rice, Felipe Anderson - other clubs will want them, but that is one thing". At the moment we have no news about him.

"I'm sure things like that are parallel to performance and he'll have his head in the game against Arsenal (Saturday 12.30pm)". "I want to keep him, of course, but you never know what might happen in the future".

"Marko and the other players involved in the rumours have their heads here, they want to continue the way they're playing". I don't think they will go.
