OLUOCH: 'Surviving R. Kelly' could be a Kenyan story

This week, protesters held a march in front of a studio allegedly connected to R. Kelly.

County spokespeople said they have received new calls and information since Tuesday's plea from Foxx.

In an incident report obtained by CNN, Timothy Savage stated that Mason said, "I'm gonna do harm to you and your family, when I see you I'm gonna get you, I'm going to f***ing kill you".

Timothy Savage told an officer on January 3 that Don Russell had texted him saying it would be best for him and his family if the documentary didn't air, according to a Henry County police report.

Savage previously denied allegations that Kelly kept her against her will, despite claims made by her family, who have not seen her in more than two years.

"I stand behind these women 1000%, believe them, know they are suffering and in pain, and feel strongly that their voices should be heard and taken seriously, ' she shared on Twitter, adding that she was 'sorry, both for my poor judgment when I was young, and for not speaking out sooner".

Chris Hopper, a spokesperson for the Fulton County DA's office, had no comment on whether or not an investigation into Kelly is indeed underway.

Meanwhile, new accusations have surfaced, but this time made against R. Kelly's manager.

- In the midst of calls for investigations into allegations against singer R. Kelly, the Chicago-based attorney for the musician broke his silence Wednesday evening defending his client. Families who have tried to rescue their daughters whom they say Kelly has taken captive also appeared in the series.

"I was sickened by the allegations".

"We can not do anything related to these allegations without the cooperation of victims and witnesses and that is why I'm here today, to encourage anyone who has information to please come forward", she said. "That's why there's no evidence of him doing anything wrong", Greenberg told FOX 5's Jaclyn Schultz. Prosecutors had argued a videotape showed him engaged in graphic sex acts with a girl as young as 13.

"Ten and a half years after he was found innocent (at trial of child pornography charges) and to fill reality TV time - someone comes up with another round of stories", he said.
