The Rock Hits Back At The 'Easily Offended Snowflake Generation'

"Apparently, it was with me, where I was insulting and criticizing millennials".

"Today online an interview dropped with me", The Rock said. "Completely untrue. 100 percent fabricated".

Dwayne went on to make it very clear that he never slammed any generation, be it baby boomers, millennials, the plurals or even the so-called snowflake generation.

The story circulated most of the day Friday, with conservative news outlets in particular relishing a major celebrity maligning a generation with the same exhausted narratives about progressive-minded people being too sensitive. He never seems to take himself particularly seriously, and is regularly offering words of encouragement to his followers on social media.

'I was quite baffled when I woke up this morning, ' he added. You'll want to join it.

"Rock said his piece and he's moved on from it, and it wasn't up for debate", he said.

"So many good people fought for freedom and equality - but this generation are looking for a reason to be offended".

In case you missed it, The Daily Mirror claimed Dwayne Johnson said "generation snowflake" being offended by everything is "putting us backwards".

I always thought the troops were protecting our right to believe what we want to believe and say what we want to say (you know, the First Amendment), so technically that is a small bit of what so many great men and women fought for, but okay, The Rock!

"I've gained such a great trust and equity with you all guys all around the world over the years and you know it's not a real "DJ" interview if I'm ever insulting a group, a generation or anyone because that's not me and that's not who I am and that's not what we do", Johnson told his 128 million followers. Johnson acknowledges that people should be free to speak their minds on whatever issues they choose to address but they should think first.
