However, Ubisoft's own Club website has since revealed Assassin's Creed III Remastered is on its way to Ninty's hybrid platform, alongside the other versions of the game.

We've known to expect this particular feature for a while now. You can take a look at the new visuals right here.

Whether or not switching from Kassandra to Alexios when starting a new game, or vice versa, will have any effect on this, we can't say.

Despite all of this, a press release sent from Ubisoft just last week finally spilt the beans on the game's official release date, clearly stating that it would arrive on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Given Assassin's Creed Odyssey's move to a more robust RPG style experience, it would also be likely that enemy levels will scale appropriately in the new game mode.

Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered tells the tale of Connor, one of the many ancestors who fight against the Templars in a quest for freedom.

It's a pretty good deal, to be fair. This time, players are thrust into the midst of the American Revolutionary War. The game will include the Benedict Arnold and Hidden Secrets missions, "Tyranny of King Washington" which is an alternative storyline and Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation is based on the freedom struggle of the New Orleans in the 18th century. The tweet also has an announcement trailer which gives you some glimpse of the game. It will release on the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One for $39.99 or your regional equivalent and Assassin's Creed Odyssey season pass holders will get the game as part of the season pass.

Assassin's Creed Origins similarly received a New Game Plus mode after its launch, which allowed players to carry over crafting materials, abilities, and even ability points.
