Disney Releases Long-Awaited 'Frozen 2' Trailer - and It Does Not Disappoint

For the first time in forever - or roughly six years - Frozen is back on the horizon.

The much-anticipated Frozen 2 doesn't hit theaters until November 22, but this first-look teaser might, just might, hold the can't-wait kids over for the time being. Joining them will be Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld) and Sterling K. Brown (The Predator).

The trailer shows Elsa (Menzel) attempting to wade through the ocean and some very mountainous waves.

Taking in over $1 billion at the worldwide box office, the film was hailed as Disney's best animated feature since 1994s' The Lion King. "Frozen" was adapted as a Broadway musical in 2018, where it was nominated for three Tonys.

In late January the reunited ensemble of the original Frozen had already begun teasing the film on Twitter and Instagram.

The film sees the return of directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, as well as cast members Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad, and Jonathan Groff.

Frozen 2 will ice the box office competition when it hits United Kingdom cinemas on 22 November.
