First 'Frozen 2' trailer provides an ominous look ahead

Walt Disney Animation Studios has dropped the first teaser for this November's Frozen 2, the feature-length follow-up to the 2013 Oscar victor and box-office behemoth.

We'd be remiss if we didn't mention the fact that the teaser opens with Elsa attempting to cross an ocean in the middle of a storm by freakin' freezing the massive waves! And much to fans' joy, the teaser trailer re-introduces the much-loved characters of Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Sven and Olaf. "Disney Animation developing #Frozen2", the studio said on Twitter, adding that directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee would be back for the second installment of the musical tale. Early newcomers to the vocal cast include This Is Us's Sterling K. Brown and Westworld's Evan Rachel Wood.

The 2013 film won two Academy Awards in the categories of Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song ("Let It Go"). Check out that and a new poster below.

Walt Disney Animation Studios' release Frozen 2 to US theaters on November 22.
