The supermarket is celebrating love by launching one of the UK's most colourful flowers - the Rainbow Rose.

Marks and Spencer is selling a special heart-shaped "love sausage" ahead of Valentine's Day.

Marks and Spencer announced their brand new product on social media today, and it wasn't long before it had a. mixed reception.

Ideal for breakfast in bed, the £5 heart-shaped sausage is made with outdoor-bred pork and wrapped in gorgeous streaky bacon.


And who wouldn't be, which the picture showing sumptuous sausage meat and fried eggs, complete with romantic tea lights and petals.

Or, you could get them a big sausage wrapped in bacon.

Another suggested the sausage was just the next natural product to gift someone - after the more predictable options: 'Chocolates.

The Love Sausage costs £5 and will be available to buy in stores from February 8, and has been described as being the "ultimate meaty delight for Valentine's breakfast in bed". All the standard Valentine's Day gifts'.

M&S may have pulled off of the most freakish social media stunt of the season with its cheeky post asking "Are you ready for our Love Sausage?"
