Monster Hunter World x The Witcher Crossover Event is Now Live

Announced last month, the big content drop featuring Monster Hunter World x The Witcher 3 is now live on all platforms! The quest is titled "Contract: Trouble in the Ancient Forest" and it stars The Witcher's Geralt of Rivia (still voiced by Doug Cockle) who must track down and deal with a powerful force known as the Leshen.

Geralt has the ability to use his silver sword for monsters and also his sign abilities like Quen and Igni. There's also plenty of dialogue to engage in with other characters that will influence how the story unfolds. This is a limited time event that will only occur from February 15 to March 1.

The second part of the Witcher crossover will kick off next week with the limited-time Event Quest called Contract: Woodland Spirit. There's even a unique skin and weapon for player's to unlock for their Palico companions.

This content is now available for Xbox One and PS4, it will be released on PC at some time in the future. PC players will be getting it at a later date too, so don't worry.

We've been wondering for a while now what form The Witcher 3 and Monster Hunter: World crossover would take. To date, the series has sold over 33 million copies worldwide and garnered over 1000 awards.

The available costume sets for the hunter are based on the main "Witcher" characters, Geralt and Siri.

It's unknown exactly what else the Witcher has brought to the game along with him. We couldn't have done it, of course, without the close collaboration of CD Projekt Red.

Sony Pictures has just confirmed that the latest video game adaptation is set to arrive on September 4, 2020. The studio's flagship titles include The Witcher series of games, Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, GWENT: The Witcher Card Game and the upcoming futuristic AAA role-playing game - Cyberpunk 2077.
