Apple Music Now Works on Amazon Fire TV

Shortly after Apple brought its music streaming service to the Amazon Echo range in the U.S. - expanding the range of services available through Amazon's popular smart speakers - Apple Music has now landed on Amazon Fire TV streaming devices as well.

Although Apple Music won't come to Google Home devices, at least not anytime soon, there are other devices out there waiting to get support for the music streaming service. But once it does, it's all Apple Music for you, all the time. The company first introduced support for Apple Music on its Echo speakers back in December, and it's now bringing the same integration to its Fire TV devices.

"Apple Music subscribers will be able to enjoy Apple Music's 50 million songs on Echo devices. Simply enable the Apple Music skill in the Alexa app and link your account to start listening".

"Customers will also be able to ask Alexa to stream expert-made radio stations centred on popular genres like Hip-Hop, decades like the 80s, and even music from around the world, like K-Pop".

Listeners only want to be tied to so many music streaming platforms, each with their own monthly subscriptions, and separate playlists they might have customized for themselves.

Apple is planning major changes for Mac, should buyers wait?
