How to enable dark mode on Slack for iOS and Android

Now Slack is finally testing a dark mode for its iOS and Android apps. It's disabled by default, and activating it will cause the app to restart. However, it seems that the feature can be activated by anyone who signs up for Slack's beta testing program (via The Verge).

However, some of the launchers like Pixel Launcher comes with built-in Google Feeds with dark mode feature.

The dark mode feature is increasingly popular. The Android 9 has a theme that you can change from light to dark and vice versa. Pick General, then choose Dark from the two options at the top of the dialog box (you can still set accent colours separately).

On dark mode, the individual pixels will do less work in dark areas. You will notice that dark mode is applied to menus, pop-ups, and the headers.

However, the point to note here is that Messenger too had gone for a white wash before the app was provided with a dark mode.

Once you join the program, you will be able to toggle to the dark mode from the settings panel. Many apps will follow suit.

First, download the latest update from the Google Play Store.

As yet, iOS doesn't have an official dark mode.

Now open the app and click on the three dots on the top right corner and open Settings. You may have noticed it's hidden at the moment-hidden until you send someone, anyone a crescent emoji.

"Dark mode isn't available on our desktop app right now, but we're working on it. Stay tuned for a brighter, darker future", the company tweeted. For that, one has to tap on Settings Chats Chat Wallpaper Solid Colors.
