Michael Bennett lists all the reasons he used to hate the Patriots

Bennett finished with nine sacks previous year with the Eagles and he will be part of equation to replace Trey Flowers, who has signed with the Lions. Shortly after arriving in New England, Bennett was interviewed by Patriots.com reporter Megan O'Brien. "I used to hate it". I'd hate it because Tom Brady's hair was long. I hated that Belichick would wear sweaters. "I think I love that".

"Yeah I hated them even more - because he loved it", Bennett explained. I love Tom Brady's hair.

Veteran defensive end Michael Bennett has changed his outlook now that the New England Patriots have acquired him in a trade from the Philadelphia Eagles. "He loved it, but the fact that he loved it made me hate it".

It should be fun to see Bennett, and maybe his brother, working with a team that he admitted he used to hate.

In his one season with the Eagles, Bennett was first on the team with 15 tackles for loss and second with nine sacks.

That being said, Michael still holds some resentment toward Martellus for winning Super Bowl LI with the Patriots. Still, Michael's opinion of the Patriots didn't improve, even after a ringing endorsement from his own family member.

In any case, Bennett clearly respects the Patriots' organization - he also retweeted a video of Belichick discussing how the Patriots handled Bennett in Super Bowl XLIX - and seems excited to hit the ground (skies?) running. Then he took that from me. He just took it.
