Students confront Chelsea Clinton over New Zealand mosque shootings

In the short video clip, seen below, NYU students approach the pregnant 39-year-old former First Daughter in public and blame her for the horrific tragedy that took place in New Zealand.

"This right here is the result of a massacre stoked by people like you and the words that you put out into the world", on student can be heard saying in the video.

Alleged gunman, Brenton, 28, is an Australian personal trainer and he allegedly killed 49 people and injured 48 others at two mosques in Christchurch, NZ on March 15.

According to The Washington Post and The Independent, the incident stemmed from comments Clinton made last month, when she rebuked Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar for allegedly perpetuating anti-Semitic tropes. I do believe that words matter.

Maajid continued: "I found it incredibly disturbing the way they treated Chelsea Clinton and when the far-left start treating those in their own political camp with hostility just because they don't use the precise language they want them to use, then what's the difference between them and the far-right?"

Many are defending Chelsea Clinton after she was verbally attacked for speaking out against anti-Semitism. "We should expect all elected officials, regardless of party, and all public figures to not traffic in anti-Semitism". "Anyone who doesn't understand this is part of the problem".

"What does 'I'm sorry you feel that way mean?'", someone from behind the camera yells, before the video cuts out.

The woman who harassed Clinton at the vigil has been identified as New York University student Leen Dweik.

Other Republicans used the confrontation to compare it to how US President Donald Trump's rhetoric has been blamed for stoking violence and allowing a rise to white supremacism. "I want you to know that". "Please stop the nonsense".

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, a prominent conservative commentator, agreed and said the blame lies exclusively with the gunman. "Period", Huckabee said, mentioning the 2017 congressional baseball shooting suspect who was a Sanders supporter.
