AOC thanks Bernie Sanders for defending Ilhan Omar against Trump attack

Like an unfortunate person suffering from Tourette's Syndrome - an affliction that presents itself as a series of uncontrollable public verbal outbursts - Australian-owned media giant Fox News can't stop talking about United States lawmaker Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

"First Member of Congress to ever describe terrorists who killed thousands of Americans on 9/11 as 'some people who did something, '" Crenshaw tweeted on Thursday morning.

"AOC implying [Dan Crenshaw], who served combat tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan (where he lost an EYE) in the wake of 9/11, hasn't done enough for the victims of September 11 terrorist attack is astounding, though not shocking", said Natalie Johnson.

"From fundraising emails labeling @AOC a domestic terrorist to the constant questioning of @IlhanMN's loyalty to and love of country, the right-wing is actively inciting violence against young progressive women of color in Congress", organizers with the Women's March posted on Twitter.

"So here you go, you guys are breaking news".

The Ohio College Republican Federation has apologized for a fundraising email referring to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., as a "domestic terrorist". "I truly do not", Ocasio-Cortez said on the Yahoo News podcast "Skullduggery".

Dan Crenshaw responded to Democratic Reps.

He was speaking about the controversy surrounding comments from Rep. Omar that appeared to dismiss the gravity of the 9/11 terror attacks by describing it as "some people did something." . "She's done more for 9/11 families than the GOP who won't even support healthcare for 1st responders- yet are happy to weaponize her faith".

Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said Omar "isn't just anti-Semitic - she's anti-American".

Rendell also believes that Omar should have been condemned because of anti-Semitic tweets. "And every single Muslim in this country should be exhausted of it. CAIR was founded after 9/11, because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties".

Omar first came under fire for tweeting in 2012 that "Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel".

She followed that tweet with another that echoed the anti-Semitic "dual loyalty" trope.

"All Representative Omar had to do was really, I don't know, explain herself, say whatever she wants", Crenshaw continued.
