Honor 8S specifications leaked: Comes with 5.71-inch water-drop notch display

Today the company announced that it will reveal the Honor 20 series at an event in London next month.

In the invite sent by Honor, there is an emphasis on the number four, with the date being written as "444+4x4x4+(4+4)/4+44/4", which totals to 521. May 21; however, there may be more to these digits than the date alone. On the camera front, the device offers a 8-megapixel sensor at the front for selfies.

Concerning the rumored specs of the Honor 20 Pro, the phone is going to be the flagship-level among the other phones in the series.

Honor just recently launched its Honor 8A Pro smartphone in the Russian market. Besides, the dominance of the number four in the cryptic sum hints at the quad-camera setup on the Honor 20 similar to the Huawei P30 Pro. As per the leaks, the Honor 20 is expected to have a 6.1-inch OLED display with a waterdrop-style notch. Running Android 9.0 Pie operating system, the Honor 8S will come with EMUI 9.0 skin and will most likely be powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with support for microSD cards. The only specs confirmed in the video is that the Honor 20i would sport a water-drop notch with a 32MP AI front camera in it. The lone camera at the rear will be capable of shooting videos at up to 1080p resolution. A 4 camera setup altogether with a triple rear camera and a selfie camera? In the last two years, we have come closer to this vision with edge-to-edge screen and curved display panels. In addition to Honor 20, the company is set to launch the Honor 20i on Wednesday, i.e April 17, in China, which might include a 6.2-inch full-HD+ display, HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage.
