Samsung Galaxy A Unpacked 2019 (and BlackPink) livestream details announced

Samsung is hosting "A Galaxy Event" today: Here is what to expect at the launch event. New devices are definitely in the offing, although the company hasn't confirmed what it'll be showing off, speculations are rife that the event will see the launch of several Galaxy A smartphones including the Galaxy A60 and A90 which is expected to come with a slider design. The fact that the Galaxy J phones have taken a beating lately in most markets is probably the main reason Samsung has chose to the series needs a complete overhaul.

According to a SamMobile report, Galaxy A80 was spotted on benchmarking site Geekbench running Snapdragon's new 6150 processor coupled with 8GB RAM. Finally, the rumoured Galaxy A90 is said to be launched at the event as well, though the latest rumours point to it being called the Galaxy A90 instead. To recall, the handset has been reported to feature a pop-up rotating camera module that will work as both front and rear cameras. The setup will reportedly comprise of a 48MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera and a third 3D Time of Flight (ToF) sensor. The phone could sport an in-display fingerprint sensor and backed by a 3,700mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.


Samsung Galaxy M30 has a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display panel. The Galaxy A30 has been priced at Rs 16,990 has been priced at 4GB of RAM with an internal storage of 64GB variant.

Samsung has smartphones in all the price segments, starting from entry-level going up to premium flagship.

Samsung has a range of series including Galaxy S lineup, Galaxy A, Galaxy J, Galaxy On and Galaxy M series.
