Fans of the hit TV show Game of Thrones were left in shock after Sansa Stark actor Sophie Turner posted a photo of herself asleep on set, sparking fears the character was about to be killed off.

And the actress, who plays Sansa Stark on TV, might extend her break if her dream of becoming a police officer takes off.

Speaking to Dr. Phil on his podcast "Phil in the Blanks", she said: "I am with someone that makes me realise that I have some redeeming qualities and when someone tells you they love you everyday it really makes you think why that is, so I think that makes you love yourself a bit more".

Elsewhere, Sophie told Dr Phil that she first began having mental health issues when she was 17, explaining that living at her parent's home while she worked and her friends and brothers were away at university was a triggering factor.

"I think that in everything we do, you know, my brothers and I, Priyanka and I, everything we do we think about the future and building something that becomes a part of a legacy in some way, and a story we can share with our kids in the future", Nick said.

Online, trolls started leaving her hate-messages based on Sansa's character, her acting, and even for as silly as gaining a little weight, making her very self-conscious.

She added: "and there was the social media scrutiny and everything and that was when it kind of hit me".

Last month in an interview to Rolling Stones she had opened up about not only her past love life but also on the reason she got engaged so young to singer and "Jonas Brothers" member Joe Jonas. As result, "I would just believe it".

Sophie Turner is opening up about the impact that fame has had on mental health. I say I wasn't very depressed when I was younger, but I used to think about suicide a lot when I was younger. "I felt very alone", she said. I would say, 'Yeah, I am spotty. I would get (the costume department) to tighten my corset a lot.

"I mean, we are getting married in France, so a lot of Coors Light is necessary", he said. "Not hard, really, to get that, but we needed to make sure that was going to happen", he said. "Learning to love yourself is the biggest challenge, I think".

The new season of the much-loved 'Game Of Thrones' a fantasy television drama is back on the small screen.
