Bale agent: I hope he keeps playing for Madrid

Bale agent: I hope he keeps playing for Madrid

"My job is to coach Real Madrid, and he has his own job".

Gareth Bale will be excluded from Real Madrid's squad on Sunday for the second match running as Zinedine Zidane continues to suggest the Welshman is not part of his plans for next season.

Zidane admits his side, who have finished top in just two of the last 11 seasons, need to place greater importance on the league.

Bale became the most expensive player in the history of the game when he moved to Real Madrid for £90 million in 2013.

One name he mentioned was Gareth Bale, whose career at Real Madrid appears to be over after being outcasted by Zinedine Zidane. He has been substituted three times and now left out completely three times too. But that's up to Mr. Zidane.

Zidane was asked after the game if he had a message for Bale and the World Cup victor insisted his actions have spoken for him.

Bale's agent Johnathan Barnett recently stated his client wants to remain in the Spanish capital, although Zidane was not in the mood to respond those comments.

Asked whether he had spoken to Bale about his future, Zidane said on Saturday: "I'm not going to say anything about this, private conversations are private, they stay in the dressing room".

Tottenham would be keen to see Bale return to north London after he scored 21 Premier League goals in his final Premier League season before jetting off to Spain.

Bale is contracted at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2022 and had meant to stay put this summer.

Fox Sports reports that Zidane believes the Gabonese global would be a flawless signing for Real Madrid since the club doesn't want to spend up to 100 million euros to sign Bale's replacement at Santiago Bernabeu.

Lyon are also said to be interested in signing Bale on loan.
