China Trade War Could Make iPhones 3% More Costly

And that would have "considerable ramifications" for Apple's business, Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty wrote in a note last week. Apart from being huge and square, the new camera setup is also expected to be color-matched to the back of the phone instead of black, as has always been the case on iPhones in the past. iPhone 11 R design leaks have told a similar story, but the new square camera array will feature two lenses instead of three. The last resort would presumably be passing the cost to consumers due to the negative effect the price increases would have on iPhone sales, though that being said, 14 percent would be a lot for Apple to absorb and most certainly is something they'll want to avoid at all costs.

Not only would it standardize the charging experience, but it would make it easier for us to connect our iPhones to our Macs (do we really need a dongle to do that right now!?) and use a whole host of peripherals compatible with other devices. The new features of these models are rumoured to have a number of awesome features.

The report goes on to state that the new iPhone 11 family codenames have already been revealed with the iPhone 11 being called D43, the iPhone 11 Max is referred to as D44 and the iPhone 11R is termed as N104. However, the upcoming iPhone XR will be having a dual real camera lens.

The phone is now priced at about 1,000 dollars.

One reason Apple is so vulnerable is that the company both assembles and sells its devices in China.

Appple is widely expected to launch three iPhone models at its usual September event this year, and rumour suggest that an 18W fast USB-C power adaptor could come in the box. The iPhone XR is one of the best smartphones around, and it's arguably better than the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. The second camera is said to have increased zoom. It remains to be seen if Apple will add a new color.
