Minnesota Timberwolves: NBA Draft Lottery Preview

While the team may now be entering the draft with just one first round pick, there is plenty of reason to be excited. Right now, the team is penciled in at the 10th spot and the Wolves have the best chance of landing that pick in the draft. If something goes wrong and the Mavs keep their pick again in 2020, it will be unprotected for Atlanta in 2021.

Tuesday's NBA Draft Lottery - scheduled to air on ESPN at 5:30 p.m. PT - will determine where the Lakers will be slated to pick come draft night on June 20.

The Celtics could have as many as four first-round picks if the Memphis Grizzlies pick conveys this season. That pick is top-one protected. It would be nice to land in the top-four, but they only have between and three and four percent chance of actually getting in that zone.

In Williamson's one and only season at Duke, he averaged 22.6 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 2.1 steals, and 1.8 blocks per game, while his efficiency from the field was unmatched, shooting 68.0% from the floor and consistently improving his perimeter game, ending the season with a 33.8% 3-point field goal percentage.

There is another pick the Celtics will be keeping their eyes on.

All their woes throughout the season may pay off for the Pels if the odds work in their favor once the ping pong balls start falling. They all have a 14% chance at landing Zion Williamson.

This might be the one of the most hard Top-10 list anyone will try to compile in the history of Top-10 lists, ranking the ten best dunks of the 2018-19 season from Zion Williamson.

Of course, this draft, more so than most others, has a generational, transcendent talent that not only has vast name recognition and widespread clout already at age 18, but also has the incredible skill set, high motor and freakish athleticism to turn into a force of nature in the National Basketball Association.

Here's a look into the eight prospects to watch at the 2019 NBA Draft Combine pertaining to the Chicago Bulls. The Mavs fell to fourth in the draft somehow. See the NBA's draft lottery explainer for details.

The difference between finishing with the worst record and the third-worst record has shrunk. "There are going to be players that I think in that area will help us".
