Realme X with 16MP Pop-up Camera Launched in China for Rs 14999

Equipped with a 3,765mAh battery, the Realme X also supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology.

Realme is barely a year old but it's already firmly established itself as a major player in India and several other markets. On the rear, the Realme X sports 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 5MP depth sensor.

The Realme X comes in two different gradient color variants, including white and blue.

Realme says the average age of its users is under 30 years, so it's focusing on a younger audience with its latest series, the Realme X. The phone features a 48MP camera at the back and a retractable front camera that allows the brand to achieve a notch-less design.

Realme X is also the first Realme smartphone to come with an optical in-display fingerprint sensor embedded in the display.

The much-awaited Realme X has finally been unveiled at a launch event in Beijing and I know, most of us have been expecting it to be a flagship smartphone - but it really isn't one.

What this means is you get a seamless 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED display with minimum bezels and a pop-up selfie camera.


Realme X will also supports AI scene recognition offering 960fps super slow motion recording.

Realme X supports Dolby Atmos sound. It also comes with Hyper Boost 2.0 for performance enhancement. It's a dual SIM phone running Android 9.0 Pie operating system and comes with regular connectivity options. According to the company, the sensor rises within 0.72 seconds to pop up. This fast charging tech is touted to charge the device up to 60% in less than an hour. Additionally, there's a dedicated night mode, just like the Realme 3 Pro.

The Realme X Lite costs CNY1,199 ($175) for its base 4GB RAM/64GB storage version, CNY1,299 ($190) for the 6GB/64GB units and CNY1,499 ($220) for the top 6GB/128GB variant.

Realme X has been price in China at CNY 1,499 (around Rs 15,350) for the base model.
