Emma Thompson, whose upcoming movie Late Night opens June 7, was joined for her opening monologue by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler - who gave a shout to her Netflix movie Wine Country - to riff about the joys of motherhood. But they walked away with a lenient sentence: dinner with the judges.

The brothers had their wives, AKA the Jonas Sisters supporting them backstage and they even appeared in a comedy sketch in a "Judge Judy" scene about three brother's who trashed someone's house throwing a party.

They have sold more than 17 million albums worldwide.

The Jonas Brothers not only performed their new songs on the show, but the guys also appeared in one sketch.

The brothers commanded the stage for their first set of the night, rocking the audience with their supremely catching single for one of the strongest SNL musical performances of the season thus far.

They last appeared on the United States comedy show back in 2009 before parting ways in what turned out to be a six year hiatus after a rift formed between the three of them.

The fun throwback was a great way of showing their fans that they haven't forgotten their past, and aren't embarrassed by their old hits. The Jonas Brothers sang both "Sucker" and "Cool/Burnin' Up" live.
