Suns Josh Jackson Arrested At Rolling Loud Music Festival

Phoenix Suns forward Josh Jackson was reportedly arrested in Florida over the weekend.

Jackson was at the Rolling Loud music festival in Miami over the weekend, and according to a report from the Arizona Republic, he tried to sneak into the VIP section multiple times without the proper pass. Jackson's resisting arrest charge is a misdemeanor.

He was assigned a hearing date of June 10.

Andy Slater of 640 The Hurricane first reported the news of Jackson's arrest.

The Suns released a statement saying that they were, "aware of the report and in the process of gathering more information". He averaged 11.5 points and 4.4 rebounds a game in 2018-19, but has started only 64 of 156 games for one of the league's worst teams over the last two years.

Considered a potential No. 1 overall pick while playing at Kansas, Jackson found trouble during his lone season in college.

Jackson, 22, averaged 11.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 79 games (29 starts) last season, his second in the National Basketball Association since the Suns made him the fourth overall pick in the 2017 draft out of Kansas. He was cited for "duty upon striking an unattended vehicle, inattentive driving and improper backing".

The Phoenix Suns did not immediately return a request for comment. Fans who waited out Jackson were instead greeted by Suns interim general manager James Jones, who told people Jackson wasn't showing up.
