Gods & Monsters Announcement Trailer - E3 2019

Fenyx will be empowered with the gods' divine powers, with which they'll be tasked to fight a range of mythical monsters including gorgons, harpies, and cyclopes.

Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot says he believes video games have a positive impact on the world around us.

Gods & Monsters is set to release on February 25, 2020 for Xbox One, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia. The game makes use of a lovely painted art style, and will allow players to traverse through the open world both on the ground, and in the air, with the use of a gliding mechanic. Though it isn't officially tied to any existing games, it looks as if it takes the recent mythology-focused expansions to games like Assassin's Creed Origins and Odyssey and run with it.

There's quite a bit to this, so have a read of the FAQ for a full rundown on the Assassin's Creed Odyssey story creator.

Gods & Monsters takes place on the Isle of the Blessed, which is far from a sun-baked Greek holiday resort.

The creators of Assassin's Creed Odyssey weren't quite done with Ancient Greece, it seems, as a new team at Ubisoft Quebec headed up by Senior Producer Marc-Alexis Cote today revealed Gods & Monsters.

And that goes right down to the art style.
