Manchester United Agree Personal Terms With Aaron Wan Bissaka

United are understood to have other targets to fit into the hole in their squad, with Thomas Meunier and Kieran Trippier two men they have been linked with, but based on the size of their initial bid, Wan-Bissaka appears to be the one they prefer.

Manchester United want to sign Aaron Wan Bissaka from Crystal Palace and told they've made a substantial bid for the England Under 21 right back.

Antonio Valencia - a regular at right-back since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson six years ago - has also been released by the club this summer.

So will Man United sign Wan-Bissaka?

Man City, of course, are the reigning Premier League champions, while Chelsea's hopes of signing the Crystal Palace star are now stifled by a transfer ban.

Crystal Palace's position, however, is complicated by reports the club's American stakeholders could sell their shares.

Wan-Bissaka previously suggested he is happy to stay at Selhurst Park. "That is where my contract is and that is where I will be next season".

According to Sky Sports, the Eagles want at least £60million for the right-back, who still has three years remaining on his contract. "It says I am going to be there, so that is all I can focus on now".

Although initially starting out as a squad player, the England U21 worldwide became a regular starter for the Premier League side in the 2018-19 season, making 39 appearances in all competitions.

Eagles boss Roy Hodgson said: "He's been outstanding".

"He's been so good in all of the games".

On Sunday the likes of Sky Sports confirmed that Manchester United have begun attempts at signing Crystal Palace's Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
