Nintendo Announces Adorable New Amiibo for The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening

The younger members of the team working on the Breath of the Wild sequel have notably been inspired by Red Dead Redemption 2.

Nintendo's E3 2019 presentation was dominated by giants of the Japanese video game world - not just Nintendo's own Pokémon, Smash Bros, Animal Crossing and Zelda series, but Square Enix's Dragon Quest and Mana roleplaying series and a range of anime-styled and mech-themed games. After defeating the Calamity in the previous game, Link and Zelda go into underground crypts of the ruined Hyrule Castle and inadvertently awaken an ancient evil. You can watch the trailer below. Mr. Aonuma say's he's been playing the upcoming rhythm-based game Cadence of Hyrule. "Ultimate", and "Super Mario Odyssey".

As for the Nintendo Switch, sales for the console were at an all-time high when they were released back in 2017 however sales have slumped lately. The Steelbook itself is by far the most exciting part of the entire package, as it includes that original Game Boy look, complete with a The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening title screen.

The trailer shows our silent but dashing hero, Link, along with the equally heroic Zelda, who also happens to be sporting a lovely new hairstyle, happening upon a whole bunch of mystical heebie jeebies in a cave.

Though it's a miracle that The Witcher 3 is coming to the Nintendo Switch at all, let alone coming with all of its expansions and fixings beyond the main game, it's coming with a few serious caveats.
