Sergio Ramos Gives His Opinion On Eden Hazard Signing

Real Madrid has officially struck a deal with Chelsea over the signature of Belgian superstar Eden Hazard and the winger will play his football in the Spanish capital next term if his medical goes through without an issue.

At the end of the 2014-15 season, in which Chelsea won the league, Hazard was awarded both the PFA Players' Player of the Year and the Premier League Player of the Season.

And Martinez believes Hazard and Madrid fit perfectly together as Belgium prepare for Tuesday's Euro 2020 qualifier against Scotland.

"Everything has been commanded with incredible respect in every party and I think that's the way things should be done".

"And now we all look forward to see how the new chapter at Real Madrid will start". He's a player who's gone through clubs and can be treated as a hero.

The Belgium global attacker won two Premier League titles and as many Europa League crowns during his time at Chelsea, where he played alongside Courtois before the star goalkeeper left for Madrid in 2018-19.

"He has been a model professional throughout his time at the club, a wonderful individual to have around and a joy to work with".

"For Real Madrid, they are getting a phenomenal footballer and for Eden, there couldn't have been too many new chapters in his career", he said.

He continued: "Defensively, as much as they've signed Militao, I don't think he gets in ahead of [Sergio] Ramos or [Raphael] Varane".

Hazard, 28, is moving to Spain after helping Chelsea win the Europa League and finish third in the Premier League.

Real Madrid fans can not wait for the new season to start after seeing Luka Jovic score his first competitive goal for Serbia on Monday evening.
