Square Enix Unveils Massive Details About Final Fantasy VII Remake

One of the most interesting announcements out of Square Enix's E3 2019 press conference was a new IP named Outriders. But Marvel stole the spotlight. There was also plenty of Final Fantasy love - for both VII Remake and XIV - and a whole suite of trailers. Rosemann explained that this is Crystal Dynamics' take on The Avengers, not a spin off from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The trailer reveals Tifa, as well as new gameplay footage.

While in Tactical Mode you can cast spells like Fire and Cure (if you have the right materia equipped, of course), use items like potions and phoenix downs, and use special abilities like Cloud's Braver attack.

Square Enix just lifted the lid on Outriders, a new game from the creators of Gears of War Judgement and Bulletstorm. Square-Enix also promises additional content after the game's release, including new heroes (Hank Pym as Ant-Man was teased) and new places to fight. The fact that Square Enix has found a way to cater to these two sets of people in the same combat system, apparently without making either side of it seem redundant, is to be commended.

FINAL FANTASY series original soundtracks and arrangement compilations are available now on major music streaming platforms including Apple® Musics, Spotify® and Amazon® Music Unlimited*.

Final Fantasy VII Remake will go on sale on March 3, 2020.

Yet another reworked classic, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition brings new lands and areas inside dungeons to give players of the old game some new elements to look forward to. The game's graphics have been enhanced courtesy of Unreal Engine 4, and it comes with a unique morale system and tweaked battle system. The announcement trailer confirms that despite science, people get dirty.

The cinematic trailer follows a three-person team as they explore a unusual alien world while shooting at a whole lot of stuff with their semi-futuristic guns.
