Chick-fil-A gives out free meals Tuesday for Cow Appreciation Day

The fast food chain is quickly growing and may be coming for McDonald's crown.

You can make or buy your cow costume (or any sort of cow apparel, really).

The completely fictional but fun holiday is being celebrating tomorrow at Chick-fil-A and it's your chance to grab some free food. This annual promotion allows fried chicken fans to get a free entree at one of the 2,400 Chick-fil-A locations nationwide. According to the event's page, it's easy.

On Tuesday, anyone who shows up at Chick-Fil-A dressed "udderly crazy" will score a free entree as part of the chain's 15th annual "Cow Appreciation Day".

Chick-fil-A Cow Appreciation Day freebies are available during breakfast, lunch, and dinner hours - anytime before 7 p.m. Adults in cow attire can choose among entrées such as a chicken biscuit during breakfast hours or an original chicken sandwich or grilled nuggets later in the day. Children in costume can receive a free breakfast entree during breakfast hours or a free kid's meal after. Last year, Chick-fil-A gave out almost 2 million free entrées on Cow Appreciation Day.

Chick-fil-A has several restaurants in Southern California including locations in Ventura, Chino Hills, Torrance, Hollywood, City Of Industry, Downey, Newport Beach, Los Angeles, Norwalk, and more.
