Manchester United Given Permission to Hold Talks With Southampton's Mario Lemina

Lemina, who has interest from a host of clubs, is expected to move on from Southampton this summer, but the midfielder insists that he does not necessarily have to join a side in the Champions League.

Lemina has told manager Ralph Hasenhuttl that he wants to leave this summer and Southampton are ready to cash in on the player, who struggled with injuries last season.

But, his form and consistency was enough to generate interest in his services, with Sky Sports claiming that Manchester United are interested and have submitted an enquiry for the Southampton star.

Perhaps Arsenal can call on their striker to turn agent and speak with his global teammate if the club are indeed interested.

However, despite being halfway across the world, Solskjaer hasn't taken a break from the business of strengthening his squad with The Times reporting the Red Devils are after Southampton midfielder, Mario Lemina.

Signed from Juventus two years ago, the 26-year-old looks set to leave St Mary's this summer after a stop-start time on the south coast. The coach put his team together. "I want to show the whole world what I am capable of".

"I aspire to play in the biggest clubs, now we will see what is proposed".

The last four months have not been easy for me, with my injury. But it is true that I do not rule out the possibility of seeing something else.

'They are giving me the opportunity to be able to go elsewhere'.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery is thought to be keen to add a new midfielder to his squad this summer following Aaron Ramsey's move to Serie A giants Juventus.

Manchester United, who are now facing the threat of a likely transfer move for their star midfielder Paul Pogba, have already started targetting other midfielders to try and refill the void that could be created by Pogba's departure.
