Woman orders 'Moana'-themed cake, gets marijuana design by mistake

"She was hysterically laughing", Davis tells CNN of her mother's reaction.

The incident occurred when Kensli Davis, now 25, asked her mother for a Moana-themed birthday cake.

INSIDER previously reported on the Georgia woman who ordered a "Moana" birthday cake, but was misheard by a Dairy Queen employee, who thought she said "marijuana". She had requested a cake with the theme of "Moana", an animated Disney movie from 2016. An order for a "Moana" cake was placed at a bakery but was misheard.

Davis posted a photo to Facebook more than a week ago, which has since gone viral with over 14,000 shares. "Well needless to say these people thought she said marijuana". "I'll just get a regular ice cream cake if I have to". So my mama called and...

The fast food restaurant served up a cake with a giant marijuana leaf design, green icing and a My Little Pony-style character with bloodshot eyes and a puff of smoke.

"The manager stood behind me while I pulled the images off the internet", she told USA Today.

Dairy Queen co-owner Al Autry acknowledged the mix-up in a statement to USA Today but did not confirm or deny Walker's termination. "It's not amusing to me".

"I think they put the little pony on there because my mama told them I loved cartoons so they thought to just throw a random cartoon character on there". (Because really I do) Well.

"Just send me on leave, write me up, any of those things, I would have been OK with those things". I have a auto that needs fixing.

Walker said since Georgia is an "employment-at-will" state, she doesn't have many options other than to move on.

"When the customer picked it up and said it was not what she ordered, we immediately apologized for the error and offered to redesign it the way she originally intended", Autry continued.

Walker was offered her position back by a different Dairy Queen manager on Thursday, but she declined the offer because of how she was treated after the misunderstanding.
